Every year, the Faculty of Natural Sciences (NV) arranges a day for all employees filled with relevant content. During the event, the NV Awards are presented to employees for their great work in seven categories: team player of the year, communicator of the year, outstanding work in education, outstanding research, best PhD, the innovation award and the sustainability award.
In 2026, the event NVDAY26 was held at Scandic Nidelven on January 8.
The theme of the day was the new NV Faculty Strategy. The Dean and Vice Deans and the heads of department along with Norsk Hydro, NINA, a student representative from the IE faculty, researcher Ida-Marie Høyvik and Haakon Skar, Chairman of the Board at the Faculty of Natural Sciences contributed with talks about the strategy.
