Entry for EPT 2024 Photo Competition. Light is the most beautiful way we see energy. This series of photos, taken during the aurora in Trondheim on March 23, 2024, focuses on this theme. I rushed to the NTNU campus and captured these photos in front of the EPT [Varmeteknisk] Building. Watching the aurora provides a rare opportunity to witness the beauty of Earth's celestial phenomena through the photons emitted when charged particles from the solar wind collide with the atmosphere - they are all about the energy.
